Sally Webster
Sally transitioned to a career in executive coaching and leadership development, having spent more than twenty years in business as an executive in human resource management. She began her career at Tesco, working in the training department at Head Office, before moving into manufacturing as a personnel generalist at Leyland DAF. This was followed by several years working for Optima, a change management consultancy, where she designed and delivered programmes to embed lean manufacturing principles into client organisations.
Sally then moved into the media world where she spent the next ten years working in the music industry, initially for BMG and subsequently as a main board HR Director for AOL, the Bertelsmann Multimedia Group and The Guardian News and Media.
In all of these organisations Sally has been involved in delivering radical business change. She understands the systemic nature of organisations and the potential held by leaders to significantly impact the bottom line of their businesses in the way that they choose to engage with their people. She believes that those who display authenticity at work are capable of driving exceptional performance. She has worked alongside leaders who seem to effortlessly inspire their people to produce extraordinary results - and understands how it's done. She is passionate about working in partnership with leaders to help them achieve their highest potential.
Sally works with leaders and senior managers, both on an individual basis and with teams to help them get clarity on what they are trying to achieve, what's getting in the way, and how they can mobilise their highest potential to succeed. She is passionate about the impact that inspirational leadership can have on organisations by energising people, fostering innovation and eliciting the discretionary effort that makes the difference in achieving outstanding results.
Sally has coached clients in a range of sectors including Guardian News and Media, AOL, The Economist, Bentley Motors, MTV Europe, The Telegraph, Fisons Pharmaceuticals, Warburtons and St. Martin in the Fields.
Sally has graduated from the Coaching Development Certification Programme. She's a member of the International Coach Federation and a Fellow of the CIPD. She's a Master Practitioner in NLP and is also certified to deliver a range of profiling tools including Emergetics, MBTI and OPQ.
