Tony Barton

A powerful and insightful leadership coach and facilitator, Tony believes that effective growth and change can be fun.

After a successful 20-year career in marketing on both the agency and client side up to board level, Tony jumped out of his 'velvet rut' when he discovered he had some interesting products of his own to market, namely aliveness, joy and courage. And these qualities are some of the benefits his coaching clients experience.

Tony's unique blend of insight, humour and groundedness, coupled with his solid business and management experience, allow him to inspire his clients to achieve more, more authentically and with greater ease. He is passionate about helping leaders to improve their team's performance.

In addition to his work as an executive coach, Tony is an experienced facilitator and group coach. In addition to training coaches all over the world for CTI (the global leading in-person coach training organisation), he's a leadership coach and workshop leader for Siemens Leadership Excellence programme, and has team-coached on programmes for, amongst others, BDO Stoy Hayward, ING Bank and Pernod.

As well as being certified through CTI, Tony is accredited as a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation; and he's an authorised Team Diagnostic Facilitator and a qualified MBTI assessor. Tony is also a graduate of CTI's international Co-Active Leadership programme.

In addition to his work with Inner Leader, he also runs his own 'Simply Inspiring' workshops and adventure holidays for individuals. Married with 3 grown up children, Tony lives in the UK.
